Total Race Distances
2 mile run, 12 mile bike, 2 mile run
PARK / RUN COURSE DESCRIPTION
First is a 2 mile cross country run (marked on the map as the 1st run) on the O Prairie trail. The run has a couple of small hills. The bike is on the road. The final 2 mile cross country run (marked as the 2nd run) is along side the lake on the Cottonmill Lake trail. Run has a couple of small hills.
ROAD BIKE COURSE
The bike course leaves out of Cottonmill Park (indicated by green arrows) heading north to the village of Riverdale. The bike turn around is northwest of Cottonmill Park and will be manned . From the turn around you will be heading south towards the park. On your return to the park entrance you will head to the LEFT down the same hill you climbed as you left the park. Follow the road through the park to the transition area. The road will be marked with chalk to show correct route. All major road crossing will be manned. Course has rolling hills.
